Update: Vornado Realty Trust Shares Jump as Q2 Earnings Beat Estimates

Vornado Realty Trust ( VNO ) shares were up more than 16% in recent Tuesday trading after the company's Q2 earnings beat estimates.

The company reported Q2 adjusted funds from operations late Monday of $0.57 per diluted share, down from $0.72 a year earlier.

Analysts polled by Capital IQ expected an FFO of $0.53.

Revenue in the quarter ended June 30 fell to $450.3 million from $472.4 million a year earlier.

Three analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expected $436.9 million.
