Sep 17, 2024 8:59 AM

11:30 AM EDT, 09/17/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Westhaven Gold ( WTHVF ) late on Monday said Chief Financial Officer Shaun Pollard has been charged with two counts of contraventions of the Securities Act (British Columbia) stemming from alleged misconduct in September 2018.

The charges haven't been proven in a court of law nor has Pollard made any admissions of guilt, the company said.

No allegations have been made against Westhaven, which said it isn't aware of any charges pending against any of its directors or other officers.

The company suspended Pollard from his duties as CFO pending the outcome of the charges, effective immediately. The board named Zara Boldt interim CFO.

Westhaven shares were last seen down $0.02 to $$0.155 on the TSX Venture Exchange.
