Update: Worthington Steel Fiscal Q4 Adjusted Earnings Slip But Sales Fall Less Than Forecast; Shares Jump Premarket

Worthington Steel ( WS ) reported fiscal Q4 adjusted earnings late Wednesday of $1.05 per diluted share, down from $1.06 a year earlier.

Revenue for the quarter ended May 31 was $832.9 million, down from $911 million a year earlier.

Two analysts polled by FactSet expected $800.5 million.

The company maintained its quarterly dividend at $0.16 per share, payable on Sept. 26 to holders of record as of Sept. 12.

Shares of the company were up more than 16% in recent premarket activity.
