UPS Launches Global Checkout Service to Avoid Unexpected Import Fees

10:04 AM EDT, 03/26/2025 (MT Newswires) -- UPS (UPS) said Wednesday it is launching the Global Checkout service targeting clients that make online purchases from shippers around the world.

The service will guarantee upfront the amount that shoppers have to pay in duties, fees and taxes, the company said, adding it is intended to solve the issue of surprise costs at delivery.

The service will be adjusted to policy changes, global tax laws, duties and tariffs, UPS said.

Shares were up 1.5% in recent trading.
