Upwork Shares Rise After Q2 Non-GAAP Earnings, Revenue Increase; 2025 Outlook Raised

09:57 AM EDT, 08/07/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Upwork ( UPWK ) shares were up more than 6% in recent Thursday trading after the company reported Q2 non-GAAP earnings of $0.35 per diluted share, up from $0.26 a year earlier.

Analysts polled by FactSet expected $0.28.

Revenue for the quarter ended June 30 was $194.9 million, compared with $193.1 million a year earlier.

Analysts polled by FactSet expected $187.6 million.

The company said it expects Q3 non-GAAP earnings of $0.28 to $0.30 per share and $190 million to $195 million in revenue. Analysts polled by FactSet expect non-GAAP earnings of $0.27 per share on revenue of $189.4 million.

Upwork ( UPWK ) said it now expects 2025 non-GAAP earnings of $1.24 to $1.27 per share, up from the previous range of $1.14 to $1.18. Analysts polled by FactSet expect $1.16.

Full-year revenue is now estimated at $765 million to $775 million, compared with $740 million to $760 million previously. Analysts polled by FactSet expect $760.9 million.
