04:57 PM EDT, 06/20/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Uranium Energy after trade Friday said it has acquired 170 million common shares of Anfield Energy ( ANLDF ) through a private agreement at C$0.115 per share, totaling C$19.55 million. AEC closed up $0.01 at $0.135 today.
After this purchase, Uranium Energy now owns and controls 373.4 million Anfield shares, representing about 32.4% of Anfield's outstanding shares (non-diluted), or 37.6% if all of its warrants are exercised, according to the statement.
Uranium Energy previously held 203.4 million shares and 96.3 million warrants, representing about 17.6% ownership (non-diluted), or 24% on a partially diluted basis, it said.
The US-based uranium supplier said that the purchase is for investment purposes, and it will continue to monitor Anfield's business. The company added it may increase or decrease its holdings in the future, depending on various factors.
