Uranium Energy Restarts Christensen Ranch Mine in Wyoming; First Shipments Expected by Year's End

09:27 AM EDT, 08/13/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Uranium Energy ( UEC ) said Tuesday that it resumed uranium production last week at its Christensen Ranch in-situ recovery operations in Wyoming.

Production began in the previously operated Mine Unit 10 at Christensen Ranch on Aug. 6, with uranium concentrations in the initial production patterns meeting expectations and forecast to rise in the coming weeks.

The company also said it has met all of its startup milestones, including hiring and training the initial restart workforce for both the Christensen Ranch mine and the Irigaray central processing plant. It expects to make the first shipment of yellowcake uranium in November or December and coinciding Uranium Energy's ( UEC ) fiscal Q2 ending on Jan. 31.

Uranium Energy ( UEC ) shares were up 2% in recent Tuesday premarket activity.
