Jan 6 (Reuters) - The U.S. Consumer Financial Protection
Bureau said on Monday it sued a unit of Berkshire Hathaway ( BRK/A )
for allegedly pushing people into unaffordable loans to
purchase homes from its Clayton Homes manufactured housing unit.
According to the regulator, Vanderbilt Mortgage & Finance, a
unit of Clayton, ignored clear and obvious red flags that
borrowers could not afford their loans.
