US announces purchase of $6 bln in weapons for Ukraine

WASHINGTON, April 26 (Reuters) - The United States will

buy $6 billion worth of new weapons for Ukraine including

vehicles, interceptors for the Patriot and NASAMS air defense

system, precision munitions and counter-drone systems, the Biden

administration announced on Friday.
