US approves $3.5 bln sale of Apache helicopters to South Korea, Pentagon says

Aug 19 (Reuters) - The U.S. State Department has

approved the potential sale of Apache helicopters and related

logistics and support to South Korea for an estimated $3.5

billion, the Pentagon said on Monday.

The principal contractors for the sale will be Boeing ( BA )

and Lockheed Martin ( LMT ), the Pentagon said in a statement.
