US approves potential $3.5 billion sale of missiles to Germany

Nov 14 (Reuters) - The U.S. State Department has

approved the potential sale of Standard Missile 6 Block I and

Standard Missile 2 Block IIIC and related equipment to Germany

for an estimated cost of $3.5 billion, the Pentagon said on

Friday.

The principal contractor for the sale will be RTX Corp ( RTX )

, the Pentagon said in a statement.
