10:52 AM EDT, 09/17/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Redfin (RDFN) said in a Tuesday report that US home prices in August rose 6.7% from a year earlier, the slowest annual growth since January.

The prices in August were also up 0.5% from July, the report added.

Home prices continue to increase as there are not enough homes for sale, Redfin said.

Shares of the company were up 3.5% in recent Tuesday trading.
