US DOJ won't seek injuction to prevent T-Mobile, UScellular merger

WASHINGTON, July 10 (Reuters) - The U.S. Justice

Department said on Thursday its antitrust division has

determined it won't seek an injunction to prevent T-Mobile

from closing on its proposed acquisition of UScellular

.

"After a thorough investigation, the Antitrust Division

determined prudentially not to seek an injunction to prevent

T-Mobile from closing on its proposed acquisition of

UScellular," the department said in a statement.
