WASHINGTON, March 29 (Reuters) - The Federal Aviation

Administration has certified General Dynamics Corp's ( GD )

Gulfstream flagship G700 business aircraft, driving fresh

competition in the top end of the market for luxury jets, the

company said Friday.

Gulfstream had previously expected to obtain certification

of the large-cabin jet which competes with Canadian private

planemaker Bombardier's Global 7500, in the last

quarter of 2023. The FAA did not immediately comment.
