US FCC investigating Amazon over alleged sale of outlawed products, NBC reports

March 20 (Reuters) - The U.S. Federal Communications

Commission is investigating Amazon ( AMZN ) and other retailers

for the alleged marketing and selling of unlawful electronic

devices, including radio frequency jammers, NBC News reported on

Wednesday.

"We have several ongoing investigations into retailers,

including Amazon ( AMZN ), for potential violations of Commission rules

related to the marketing and sale of equipment without proper

FCC authorization," NBC quoted an FCC spokesperson as saying in

a statement to the news outlet.
