US federal regulators give Venture Global okay to increase LNG export capacity at Plaquemines plant

Feb 19 - U.S. federal regulators on Wednesday gave

Venture Global LNG permission to increase the export capacity of

its Plaquemines, Lousiana, LNG plant.

Regulators approved the plant increasing its production

capacity to 27.2 million metric tonnes per annum (MTPA) of the

superchilled gas, from a previous 24 MTPA.
