Nov 26 (Reuters) - The U.S. Federal Trade Commission
said on Tuesday it would take action against Evolv Technologies ( EVLV )
over allegations the company deceived users about its
artificial intelligence security screening systems' ability to
detect weapons in school settings.
A proposed settlement with Evolv ( EVLV ) would bar the company from
making unsupported claims about its products and give certain
K-12 school customers the option to cancel their contracts, the
FTC said in a statement.
