U.S. GoldMining Doubles Mineral Resource Estimate at Whistler Project; Shares Rise

01:40 PM EDT, 10/07/2024 (MT Newswires) -- U.S. GoldMining ( USGO ) shares advanced about 27% in recent Monday trading after the company said that the indicated mineral resource estimate at its wholly owned Whistler Gold-Copper Project in Alaska is now about 6.5 million gold equivalent ounces.

This is a roughly 117% increase from the 2022 mineral resource estimate of about 3 million gold equivalent ounces in the indicated category, according to the company.

The project also has an additional 4.2 million gold equivalent ounces in the inferred resource category, the company said.
