US Judge to Hear Objections to Justice Department's Non-Prosecution Deal With Boeing, Reports Say

07:27 AM EDT, 09/03/2025 (MT Newswires) -- A US federal judge in Texas is set to hold a hearing on Wednesday to consider objections to the Justice Department's non-prosecution agreement with Boeing ( BA ) , according to media reports published the same day.

US District Chief Judge Reed O'Connor will hear arguments from relatives of certain victims of two fatal 737 MAX plane crashes opposing the deal, news outlets said. Under the non-prosecution arrangement, Boeing ( BA ) will pay $1.1 billion in fines, compensation, and safety and compliance investments, the reports added.

Boeing ( BA ) did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment.
