06:27 AM EDT, 03/23/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Shares of most oil companies advanced only slightly or fell n Monday's pre-marketing trading even as oil prices surged amid the continuing war by the US and Israel against Iran.
Shares of West Texas Intermediate futures were up 0.8% to $99.02 while Brent Crude was trading 2% higher at $108.6.
Shares of ConocoPhillips ( COP ) were up 0.8% while fellow US oil major Chevron ( CVX ) and ExxonMobil ( XOM ) were up less than 1%
International oil majors BP (BP), Shell (SHEL), Eni (E), and TotalEnergies (TTE) all were trading slightly lower.
