US Physical Therapy Reports Change in 2024 Medicare Rate Reduction

09:36 AM EDT, 03/11/2024 (MT Newswires) -- US Physical Therapy ( USPH ) said Monday that the 2024 Medicare rate reduction for therapy services will be roughly 1.8%, compared with 3.5% previously.

The change was made in the Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2024, signed into law on March 8, the physical therapy clinics company added.

The rate change will raise full-year 2024 revenue by about $2.3 million compared with previous expectations, the company said.
