US State Department approves potential $2.6 billion sale of helicopters to Norway

July 11 (Reuters) - The U.S. State Department has

approved the potential sale of HH-60W Helicopters and related

equipment to Norway for an estimated $2.6 billion, the Pentagon

said on Friday.

The principal contractor for the sale is Lockheed Martin ( LMT )

unit Sikorsky, the Pentagon said in a statement.
