US State Department OKs sale to Australia of Apache helicopter support services

WASHINGTON, Aug 23 (Reuters) - The U.S. State Department

approved a foreign military sale to Australia of AH-64E Apache

helicopter sustainment support services and related equipment

for $300 million, the Pentagon said on Friday.

The principal contractors will be Boeing ( BA ) and Lockheed

Martin ( LMT ), the Pentagon said in a statement.
