US State Dept OKs potential sale of missiles to Denmark, Pentagon says

WASHINGTON, June 7 (Reuters) - The U.S. State Department

has approved the potential sale of advanced medium-range

air-to-air missiles and related equipment to Denmark for an

estimated cost of $215.5 million, the Pentagon said on Friday.

Denmark has asked to buy 84 AIM-120C-8 Advanced Medium-Range

Air-to-Air Missiles and three AIM-120 AMRAAM guidance sections,

the Pentagon said. The principal contractor will be RTX Corp ( RTX )

, it said.
