US State Dept OKs potential sale of tactical missiles to Canada

WASHINGTON, Aug 16 (Reuters) - The U.S. State Department

approved a foreign military sale to Canada of tactical missiles

and related support for $264.6 million, the Pentagon said on

Friday.

The principal contractor for the AIM-9X Sidewinder Block II+

and Block II tactical missiles will be RTX Corp ( RTX ), the

Pentagon said in a statement.
