Jan 13 (Reuters) - Utility firm Duke Energy ( DUK ) said
on Monday it has appointed insider Harry Sideris as its chief
executive officer, effective April 1.
A 29-year company veteran, Sideris will succeed Lynn Good,
who will retire from her management and board roles after more
than two decades.
Sideris, who was Duke's president since April 2024, has led
the company's electric and gas utilities. He began his career at
Progress Energy prior to its merger with Duke Energy ( DUK ) in 2012.
