PSP Projects has secured new orders of nearly Rs 1,490 crore. This is to build medical colleges and hospitals across multiple locations in Uttar Pradesh. PS Patel, CMD of the company, said that this project will enjoy margin of around 14-15%.
“This is about 18 months' project. So, we should be able to at least gather up to 60-70% revenue next year only. It will be in the range of the margins which we have been carrying throughout last 2-3 years which will be within the range of 13-14%,” he said in an interview to CNBC-TV18.
He also said that they will be starting the Bhiwandi project soon. “We have got the construction consult 10 days before and we will be starting the excavation within first week of April. So things are now in place, we have everything in terms of permission. The excess road towards Bhiwandi project that has already been in process by MMRDA. So, the project will fast now,” he said.
Patel said that the order inflow for the year has been at Rs 2,436 crore. He also said that the total outstanding order book as of December is Rs 4,800 crore.
He expects the company to achieve revenue of around Rs 1,700-1,800 crore in FY22. “We always think that the revenue, whatever we do for the year, minimum to that or maybe 20% extra, we should get minimum order inflow from the next year. So we would like to maintain minimum Rs 2,500 crore order inflow next year also. At the same time, revenue may reach up to Rs 1,700-1,800 crore keeping the margins on the same levels what we have been doing since last few years,” he said.
Additionally, the company has also won Rs 25 crore order for residential projects in Gujarat.
