10:33 AM EDT, 04/18/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Utz Brands ( UTZ ) said Thursday some of its subsidiaries including Utz Quality Foods have agreed to sell certain assets to Our Home.

As part of the deal, affiliates of Our Home will purchase Utz Brands' ( UTZ ) Berlin, Pennsylvania, and Fitchburg, Massachusetts, manufacturing sites and other related assets.

The deal, totaling $18.5 million, subject to customary adjustments, is expected to close on April 22. Following deal completion, Utz and Our Home will operate under a Transition Services Agreement for up to 12 months, the salty snacks manufacturer said.

Our Home intends to continue to run and expand the manufacturing facilities within its platform while employing the Utz associates working there as part of the transformation, Utz Brands ( UTZ ) said.
