UTZ Brands Shares Rise After Q3 Results, Guidance Reaffirmed

10:45 AM EDT, 10/31/2024 (MT Newswires) -- UTZ Brands ( UTZ ) shares were up more than 5% in recent Thursday trading after the company reported quarterly results and reaffirmed its 2024 guidance.

UTZ posted Q3 adjusted earnings of $0.21 per share, up from $0.17 a year earlier.

Analysts polled by Capital IQ expected $0.20.

Net sales for the quarter ended Sept. 29 was $365.5 million, down from $371.9 million a year earlier.

Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expected $364.3 million.

The snack-food company reaffirmed its 2024 adjusted EPS growth of 28% to 32% and organic net sales growth of 2% to 2.5%.
