Analysts polled by FactSet expected a loss of $5.
Revenue for the quarter ended Oct. 31 was $260.3 million, up from $258.6 million a year earlier. Analysts surveyed by FactSet expected $249.8 million.
For fiscal 2025, the company raised its net income projection to between $240 million and $316 million from earlier guidance of $224 million and $300 million. Analysts polled by FactSet expect $271.9 million.
The company maintained its quarterly dividend at $2.22 per share, payable Jan. 9 to shareholders of record Dec. 26.
Shares of Vail Resorts ( MTN ) were up nearly 4% in after-hours activity.
