Vail Resorts Fiscal Q2 Earnings Rise, Revenue Drops; Fiscal 2024 Net Income Guidance Cut; Dividend Raised; Shares Fall

04:50 PM EDT, 03/11/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Vail Resorts ( MTN ) reported fiscal Q2 earnings late Monday of $5.76 per diluted share, up from $5.16 a year earlier.

Analysts polled by Capital IQ expected $5.99.

Revenue in the quarter ended Jan. 31 fell to $1.08 billion from $1.1 billion a year ago.

Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ forecast $1.15 billion.

The company expects net income in fiscal 2024 of $270 million to $325 million, down from previous guidance of $316 million to $394 million.

Vail Resorts ( MTN ) boosted the quarterly dividend $0.16 to $2.22 a share, payable April 11 to shareholders of record March 28.

Shares of the company fell 4.4% in after-hours trading.
