04:53 PM EDT, 09/26/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Vail Resorts ( MTN ) reported a fiscal Q4 loss late Thursday of $4.67 per diluted share, wider than a loss of $3.35 a year earlier.
Analysts polled by Capital IQ expected a loss of $4.24.
Revenue for the quarter ended July 31 was $265.4 million, down from $269.8 million a year earlier. Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expected $264.9 million.
For fiscal 2025, the company expects net income of between $224 million and $300 million.
The company maintained its quarterly dividend at $2.22 per share, payable Oct. 24 to shareholders of record Oct. 8.
Vail also reported two-year resource efficiency transformation plan, expecting to achieve $100 million in annualized savings by the end of fiscal 2026 before one-time costs, with about $27 million realized in fiscal 2025 before $15 million of one-time costs.
