04:30 PM EDT, 05/27/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Vail Resorts ( MTN ) said Tuesday Rob Katz, current executive chairperson and former chief executive, has been named CEO of the company.

Katz succeeds Kirsten Lynch, who has stepped down as CEO and a board director, Vail said, adding Lynch will stay in an advisory role for an interim period.

Katz will still be chair of the board, the company said. It also reaffirmed its fiscal 2025 guidance provided on April 24.

The shares were rising past 11% in after-hours activity.
