03:29 AM EDT, 07/07/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Valaris ( VAL ) said Sunday it obtained drillship contract awards totaling about $760 million from Occidental Petroleum ( OXY ) subsidiary Anadarko Petroleum.

The awards include a 940-day contract extension for Valaris DS-16, starting in June 2026, and a new 914-day contract for Valaris DS-18, estimated to begin in mid-Q4 2026, in the Gulf of America, the company said.
