04:53 PM EDT, 09/10/2024 (MT Newswires) -- ValOre Metals ( KVLQF ) on Monday provided an update on its ongoing exploration at the Salvador target within its Pedra Branca Platinum Group Elements (PGE) Project in northeastern Brazil.

The company said Salvador exploration is ongoing with activities including Trado auger drilling, rock sampling, and trenching, confirming the presence of PGE in ultramafic rocks north of the area drilled in 2023.

Trench mapping and sampling are finished, with 108 samples sent for analysis. Ground geophysical surveys are completed, and interpretation is ongoing. Additional fieldwork, including mapping, rock sampling, and Trado drilling, is continuing in new areas, the company said.

Current findings and new ultramafic occurrences extend the PGE-prospective trend at Salvador to a total strike length of two kilometers, the company added.
