07:01 AM EST, 12/03/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Valvoline ( VVV ) was Smart Insider's stock pick of the week after the company's director Charles Sonsteby bought $395,000 worth of Valvoline's ( VVV ) shares at $39.50 apiece on Nov. 25.

This was Sonsteby's third purchase after spending $154,000 during the initial public offering in 2016 and then purchasing shares for $155,000 in November last year, Smart Insider said in a note Tuesday.

"We ranked the stock a year ago based primarily on his purchase and it proved timely, although there were other buyers," the note added. "Sonsteby has been the only buyer so far in 2024."
