08:56 AM EDT, 10/03/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Valvoline ( VVV ) said Thursday that in September it opened its 2,000th location, progressing toward its goal of 3,500 service centers across the US and Canada.

The company said the new center, located in Centerville, Ohio, marks its sixth Valvoline Instant Oil Change location in the Dayton area.

Shares of the company were up nearly 2% in recent Thursday premarket activity.
