Vanda Pharmaceuticals Receives Revised Offer From Future Pak; Shares Rise

12:00 PM EDT, 06/13/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Vanda Pharmaceuticals ( VNDA ) said Thursday that it received a revised unsolicited acquisition proposal of $8.50 to $9.00 per share in cash, plus certain contingent value rights, from Future Pak.

In May, Future Pak offered to acquire Vanda for $7.25 to $7.75 per share, plus contingent value rights.

The company said its board will review the revised proposal and no shareholder action is required at the current stage.

Shares of Vanda Pharmaceuticals ( VNDA ) were up more than 11% in recent trading.
