10:40 AM EDT, 05/22/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Vecima Networks ( VNWTF ) was up near 1.5% early on Thursday after saying Net-Com is deploying Vecima's Entra SC-1D Access Node and Entra Access Controller(EAC) solutions for Hanstholm Net, an internet service provider in Denmark.

A statement noted Vecima's Entra SC-1D Remote MACPHY node, a key component of the Entra Distributed Access Architecture product portfolio, equips cable operators to transition their networks "toward greater efficiency and scalability". It said by moving MAC and PHY layer functions to the access edge, the SC-1D "reduces core network load, lowers latency, and increases bandwidth availability, supporting efficient delivery of high-throughput services".

Net-Com is a Danish distributor of network equipment to support both small-scale and enterprise-level network infrastructures.
