09:57 AM EDT, 05/08/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Vecima Networks ( VNWTF ) said Wednesday that it has partnered with AXING, a provider of telecommunications products and services in Germany, to deliver services to cable operators in Germany.

Under the partnership, AXING will serve as a reseller of Vecima's Entra Distributed Access Architecture product portfolio, including the Entra SC-1D Remote MACPHY Device and the Entra EN2112 Remote PHY Access Node.

Vecima's Entra SC-1D Remote MACPHY Device has been designed for DAA applications and allows operators to transition their networks toward a more distributed, efficient, and scalable architecture.

The Entra EN2112 Remote PHY Access Node is a high-density, compact, two-port node that is interoperable with third-party converged cable access platform cores and virtual cable modem termination systems, or vCMTS, creating an open, flexible DAA ecosystem.
