09:10 AM EDT, 04/22/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Velo3D ( VLD ) said Monday it has named Hull Xu as chief financial officer.

The company said Xu will succeed Bernard Chung, who is leaving April 29.

Xu most recently served as the finance chief at Cepton ( CPTN ) , the Velo3D ( VLD ) said.

Velo3D ( VLD ) also said it has named Michelle Sidwell to the newly created role of chief commercial officer.

Additionally, Chief Marketing Officer Renette Youssef is leaving the company, Velo3D ( VLD ) said.

Shares of the company were up 3.5% in recent Monday premarket activity.
