Velo3D Wins $32.6 Million Department of Defense Contract for Additive Manufacturing

08:23 AM EST, 12/22/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Velo3D ( VELO ) said Monday it has won a $32.6 million other transition agreement contract with the US Department of Defense to support a program to accelerate production of munitions through additive manufacturing.

The company said it will use its rapid production solution to prototype and qualify additively manufactured components that would enable the department to remove manufacturing bottlenecks.

The contract also includes an option to explore development of the laser powder bed fusion printing technology in the US, Velo3D ( VELO ) said.

Shares of Velo3D ( VELO ) were up more than 10% in recent premarket activity Monday.
