12:37 PM EDT, 03/13/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Velocity Minerals ( VLCJF ) on Thursday said it received an exploration license for the Miriofito property in the Kilkis mineral district in northern Greece.

Miriophito is a polymetallic copper-gold-silver-lead-zinc vein-replacement type system hosted in a carbonate rock environment. The exploration license is granted to Velocity for an initial three-year period.

The company said it is targeting carbonate replacement mineralization and will be evaluating copper-gold porphyry targets due to the proximity of known porphyry deposits in the belt.

The company's shares were last seen up $0.01 to $0.18 on the TSX Venture Exchange.
