March 12 (Reuters) - Venezuela and Spanish energy group
Repsol have signed "strategic agreements," the government of the
South American country said in a statement on Thursday. It did
not provide further details about the deals.
"Venezuela is determined to become an energy powerhouse, and
to do so, it is essential to establish strategic agreements with
global investors, adapting to the challenges of global
geopolitics in the petrochemical and gas sector," the government
statement said.
