Venture Global Gets Energy Department Uprate Approval for Calcasieu Pass LNG Project

04:19 AM EDT, 08/05/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Venture Global ( VG ) said late Monday it received the US Department of Energy's uprate approval for its Calcasieu Pass liquefied natural gas project in Louisiana.

The approval increases the project's permitted peak liquefaction capacity to 12.4 million tonnes per annum from 12 MTPA.
