08:02 AM EDT, 09/27/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Venus Concept ( VERO ) shares increased more than 2% in Friday's premarket activity after disclosing that on Thursday it exchanged $15.0 million of its debt held by affiliates of Madryn Asset Management for 203,583 shares of preferred stock.

The transaction reduced the company's debt obligations to $34.6 million, down 25% from $46.0 million outstanding as of June 30, 2024, the Canadian aesthetic surgery company said.
