VEON Says Banglalink, Robi Partnered to Support Expanded 4G Access in Bangladesh

08:45 AM EDT, 05/20/2024 (MT Newswires) -- VEON (VEON) said Monday that its digital operator in Bangladesh, Banglalink, has signed a memorandum of understanding with Axiata Group's Robi unit that aims to expand 4G coverage in the country.

Through the partnership, Banglalink and Robi, a mobile operator in Bangladesh, will explore potential network sharing to make 4G more accessible and support network performance for customers of both operators, VENO said.

The partnership also aims to reduce duplications and support efficient resource utilization, the company said.
