04:38 AM EDT, 08/27/2024 (MT Newswires) -- VEON (VEON) said early Tuesday that Tamasha, a home-grown streaming platform in Pakistan, has secured international streaming rights for certain cricket matches through a partnership with the Pakistan Cricket Board.

The company said its digital operator, Jazz, launched Tamasha in October 2021.

VEON said it served 111 million monthly active users across its digital services and platforms as of June.

The rights are for Pakistan's test matches against Bangladesh in August and September, and the test match against England in October.
