11:10 AM EST, 03/05/2025 (MT Newswires) -- VEON (VEON) said Wednesday its digital operator Jazz has signed a deal with Huawei to install solar power across Jazz's 1,000 sites in Pakistan.

Financial terms were not disclosed.

Huawei will provide its iSolar technology to solarize the sites, which will be completed in the coming months, VEON added.
