VEON's Uklon Platform Buys E-wings for $2.2 Million

05:10 AM EDT, 06/05/2026 (MT Newswires) -- VEON (VEON) said Friday that its Kyivstar ( KYIV ) unit's Uklon platform has reached an agreement to acquire E-wings for 97.6 million Ukrainian hryvnias ($2.2 million).

The company said the purchase adds electric scooters to Uklon's ride-hailing platform.

VEON shares were down 1.2% in Friday's premarket activity.
